Ilka Rave

Like a lot of people Ilka’s sewing career began by making clothing for herself. Over time she progressed into patchwork and quilting but retained her love for making wearables.

Today she successfully combines these two passions in her workshops.  Based in Germany, she is a very active member of her local patchwork group and organises a bi-annual Patchwork Festival in her beautiful hometown of Hamburg. She is also an active member of her local guild and teaches a variety of classes at her sons quiltshop – Quilthouse Hamburg.
